RN-to-BSN Options

Registered nurses (RNs) who are NMNEC ADN graduates  are encouraged to complete a baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN) through completion of an RN-to-BSN (RN-BSN) program.

The following NMNEC Curriculum and Associate Member programs offer RN-BSN programs:

  1. Eastern New Mexico University – Portales
  2. New Mexico Highlands University
  3. New Mexico State University
  4. Northern New Mexico College
  5. University of New Mexico
  6. Western New Mexico University

In addition, RNs who are NMNEC ADN graduates have an unique opportunity to not repeat their health assessment or population health or leadership/roles content at a NMNEC Curriculum or Associate Member RN-BSN program that has incorporated NMNEC recommendations regarding substitution of NMNEC ADN nursing courses for upper level RN-BSN nursing courses:
  1. New Mexico Highlands University
  2. Northern New Mexico College
