RN-to-BSN Options
Registered nurses (RNs) who are NMNEC ADN graduatesĀ are encouraged to complete a baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN) through completion of an RN-to-BSN (RN-BSN) program.
The following NMNEC Curriculum and Associate Member programs offer RN-BSN programs:
- Eastern New Mexico University – Portales
- New Mexico Highlands University
- New Mexico State University
- Northern New Mexico College
- University of New Mexico
- Western New Mexico University

In addition, RNs who are NMNEC ADN graduates have an unique opportunity to not repeat their health assessment or population health or leadership/roles content at a NMNEC Curriculum or Associate Member RN-BSN program that has incorporated NMNEC recommendations regarding substitution of NMNEC ADN nursing courses for upper level RN-BSN nursing courses:
