- WHAT: Spring 2021 NMNEC Virtual Statewide Faculty Meeting: “Get Results: How NMNEC Programs Can Promote Math Literacy Through Mentorship”
- WHEN: Friday, April 23, 2021 | 9:00am – 12:30pm

- WHY: To discover creative ways to engage students and increase pass rates on high stakes mathematical and dosage exams while engaging with colleagues and learning about NMNEC’s current activities.
- FEATURING: Guest speaker, Mary Flores (WNMU), who will present tips and strategies for increasing medical calculation pass rates and improving student outcomes.
1 CE will be offered for this session.
Learning Outcome: Upon completion of this educational activity, eighty (80) percent of participants will be able to 1) describe one impact of high stakes exams on NMNEC students, 2) identify one teaching strategy/best practice that supports the achievement of increased pass rates on high stakes mathematical or dosage exams through the implementation of the modules and mentorship tool presented.[/box]
